There is no simple, solitary cause for the present energy crunch. Likewise, there is no one, simple
cure-all that will make it go away.
The following 3-point program has been adopted by 2008 Presidential candidate
Bowles and Vice-Presidential candidate Ramsey as a solution to the immediate fuel crisis which the United States faces today,
and to the long-range, world wide energy shortage predicted within 30 years.
1.) We must begin an all-out,
coordinated program to find natural, non-polluting energy sources. By harnessing all of the native genius, creativity
and inventive power possessed by the White race, it should be possible to develop new energy sources within a decade or so
to meet our needs without befouling the environment.
2.) To tide us over until these new energy sources
are available, the United States must DUMP ISRAEL as an ally, and reestablish friendly relations with the oil producing Islamic
nations. As mentioned above, it will take years before the new energy sources, as solar energy, can be
put into use on a widespread scale. Until that time, the U.S. should do everything possible to gain the favor of those countries
which have the crude oil oil resources needed to lessen the severity of the present "shortage".
3.) As
a nation, we must change our present wasteful, luxury-oriented, materialistic lifestyle and replace it with a frugal,
natural manner of living.
For the past 60 years, we have been living far beyond our means with regard to
the energy situation. It is time for us to come to our senses and realize that our precious natural resources are very limited.
The time has come to tighten our belts an be willing to make sacrifices on an individual basis. We must reject the
present wasteful, selfish, irresponsible, "no-deposit-no-return" lifestyle and adopt a lifestyle characterized by
concern for energy and environmental conservation.
There is no doubt that many individuals will find all of this
difficult, especially those who have been infected with the sick value system which has resulted in the hoggish way of life
most White Americans have adopted. The sad fact is that many White people have become physically
and psychologically soft, and it is never wise to become soft in the rough world in which we live.
